We are parents and Scouts from the Half Hollow Hills area and neighboring communities, including Melville, Dix Hills, Huntington, Commack, Deer Park, Wheatley Heights, and East Northport.
From taking your first hike to your first marshmallow roasted over a campfire. Scouts is all about fun, family, friendship and adventure.
Scouting gives children the chance to explore, create, and grow while making lifelong memories. Whether they're fishing, playing sports, building projects, camping under the stars, enjoying s'mores, visiting the local police or fire departments, or racing a Pinewood Derby car, every adventure helps them discover something new.
Scouting is fun for the whole family, with activities that bring parents, siblings, and friends together. Along the way, Scouts learn the value of doing their best, trying new things, helping others, and building confidence. Those experiences help shape them into capable, caring and resilient people— one adventure at a time.
Cub Scouts
⚜️ For boys and girls, Kindergarten through 5th grade
⚜️ You want your child to make new friends, explore Long Island, serve our community, and have fun.
⚜️ Cub Scout Pack 457 currently has Scouts from Dix Hills, Melville, Deer Park, Wheatley Heights and Commack.
⚜️ Pack 457 is the only Cub Scout Pack in Half Hollow Hills.
⚜️ Scouts and families are welcome to attend most events.

⚜️ Your application will be received by Scouting LI and a Scout ID will be registered with Scouting America.

⚜️ No Cub Scout experience required.
⚜️ Interested 10-17 year olds are encouraged to attend a meeting.
